Carbon copy of typed letter from E. Barrett Prettyman, Jr. to Bill Jackson dated 6 May 1957, replying to an earlier correspondence (Folder 15, Object 17). Bill Jackson was attempting to contact Judge Townsend regarding Justice Jackson's article on the exchange of destroyers with the United Kingdom during WWII. Bill Jackson and E. Barrett Prettyman, Jr. worked together to publish the Justice's article posthumously.
