Biographical Information

William Eldred Jackson, son of Justice Robert H. Jackson, received his B.A. from Yale University and his L.L.B. from Yale University.  He served in the United States Navy and assisted his father when Justice Jackson was serving as chief counsel for the prosecution at the Nuremberg Trials.  William "Bill" Jackson joined Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy in 1947, became a partner in 1954, and remained affiliated with the firm until his death in 1999.
