Affidavit and oath sworn by Thomas Glover and John Tripp Clement, executors named in Henry Adams' will, before J.M. Shugar, a Commissioner to administer oaths in the Supreme Court of Judicature. The affidavit states that Adams died on 22 March 1876 and that his estate and effects are valued under 1000 pounds. The oath states that Glover and Clement will faithfully administer Adams' personal estate and effects. Both affidavit and oath are dated 27 April 1876.
