Collection The Papers of Professor Carl McFarland
Abstract

This collection contains papers that document McFarland's work on certain New Deal legislation (1934-1937), his work for the American Bar Association on the Administrative Procedure Act, and his term as chairman of the Civil Service Commission's Hearing Examiner Board in the 1940's. Later projects in administrative law are documented, along with his law teaching at the University of Virginia.
