Written notice to James Monroe by Nathan Skinner that a deposition will be taken on 16 October 1826 of Joseph Hill in support of Skinner's position in Monroe v. Skinner, a case then pending in the Superior Court of Chancery holden at Winchester. On the reverse, the notice is certified by "J. Bayly" that a Justice of the Peace in Loudoun County confirmed delivery of the notice to Monroe.
