Peter W. Adler received a Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy from Dartmouth College (magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa) in 1973, a Masters Degree in Philosophy from Cambridge University (Honours) in 1975, and a J.D. from University of Virginia School of Law in 1983, where he was an Editor of the Virginia Law Review. He has published three law review articles, while a fourth article, "Is it Lawful to use Medicaid to Pay for Neonatal Circumcision?" has been accepted for publication in the Journal of Law and Medicine.
