Biographical Information
May 23, 1889 - April 6, 1963. U.S. Assistant Attorney General from 1921 to 1929; second woman ever appointed to the position. At the request of Elizabeth Tompkins (first female graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law), Ms. Willebrandt came and spoke to the Law School faculty and students in February, 1923.
