Law Alumni Elaine Jones '70, director of the NAACP and recipient of the 23rd Thomas Jefferson Memorial Foundation Award in Law, speaks at the Law School in April of 1999. Her address was entitled "Criminalizing the Have Nots: A Failed Public Policy."
