Letter from solicitors Shepherd & Ewen to solicitors Shugar, Vaisey & Vores calling their attention to a power of attorney issue in that a married woman cannot appoint a power of attorney to convey real estate and suggesting that they solve the problem by executing a deed in which the woman and her husband convey their share. They also inform Shugar, Vaisey & Vores about someing willing to rent the lot purchased by Mr. Bates. Dated 20 November 1878.
